Shine your light – be the HOPE!

Flashlight and Compact MemeWere you at the DFW Volunteer Kick-off event for Ragan’s HOPE over the weekend? If not, then you didn’t get your limited edition Ragan’s HOPE Flashlight and Compact Mirror!

If you are not in the DFW area, within the next couple of weeks, we will post video from the event so you can see what you missed. What an amazing time we had!

Did you know that Ragan’s HOPE made 1,527 visits last year to families and made over 9,800 contacts (phone calls, follow-up calls, support, visits, cards, etc.) to families across the United States who needed HOPE, healing, encouragement and more?

The growth of Ragan’s HOPE is just phenomenal – if you KNOW of ANYONE in the United States who has a heart to serve others, or who is going through the difficult circumstance of a child with a catastrophic illness or injury – please step up and connect them to Ragan’s HOPE. With such a huge growth in the families we are supporting, we need an even larger growth of our volunteer base! You know people we do not know, and we need you to be aware of the opportunities available for not only YOU to serve, but also those you know throughout the country.

For those who were there, do you remember the word find puzzle we did? Share in the comments below your thoughts on the words Community, Endure, Future, Support, and Volunteer.

Thank you so much for those who took the time to come and be a part of our Volunteer Kick-Off Event – we look forward to what God has for us, and none of it would be possible without YOU!

It’s time to BE THE HOPE – shine your light into the lives of others so they can find their way to a better, brighter future as they learn to endure and embrace the future ahead.

You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
Matthew 5:14-16 NIV
